For over 40 years, Packer Engineering has applied engineering testing and analysis tools to all aspects of Intellectual Property (IP) problem solving from portfolio assessment to infringement analysis to reduction to practice.
Our scientists and engineers apply their collective industrial design/ manufacturing and academic teaching and research background in over 21 technology fields to: (1) patent infringement and validity analysis; (2) trade secret and trade dress analysis; (3) product characterization and performance laboratory testing and computer based simulation; (4) reverse engineering and state-of-the-art determination and; ( 5) non‑infringing alternative designs.
Our staff has been awarded over 63 patents and presented the results of their research in many venues including International Trade Commission hearings in Washington, D.C. and the European Union Patent Court.
