Safety Evaluation

Packer facilitated a continuous improvement process for safety and health within a national industrial manufacturer of electric motors. The process involved helping establish performance criteria, specific safety responsibilities, training of continuous improvement teams and auditing of the process. As a result of the process, the company has identified and improved hundreds of safety concerns within their operations.

 

Cooling Tower Rebuild

Packer enabled a contractor to qualify for a cooling tower rebuild project at a major automobile manufacturer site by providing a full time, on-site construction safety consultant. Packer's consultant provided all safety responsibilities required by the site for the contractor such as pre-task analyses, training, auditing, and reporting. The client completed the 8 month project to the satisfaction of the auto manufacturer with no loss time incidents.

 

Industrial Hygiene Survey

Packer Engineering performed an industrial hygiene survey for known airborne contaminants at a facility that manufactures foam insulation for various applications. Recommendations were offered to lower exposure to these airborne contaminants to acceptable levels reducing the possibility of occupational disease and workers' compensation claims.
