Douglas J. Erickson
Staff Consultant IIMr. Erickson, a Civil Engineering E.I.T., joined Packer Engineering’s Construction Technology Group in 2008 with three years of experience in the construction dispute resolution and oversight industry. Mr. Erickson’s experiences have encompassed dispute resolution tactics, program management analysis, examination of project controls and scheduling, and technical report and presentation preparation.
Prior to joining Packer Engineering, Mr. Erickson worked as an Associate with the Capital Projects Group at CRA International. At CRA, he provided advisory services on numerous multi-million dollar construction disputes including university dormitories, a professional basketball arena, a convention center, and laboratory facilities.
Mr. Erickson has completed his undergraduate studies in civil engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and in physics from Illinois College. He is currently pursuing his graduate degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University. Throughout his civil engineering studies, Mr. Erickson has majored in construction management with secondary emphases in structural and geotechnical engineering. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Erickson also held internships with the Engineering Division at the Village of Gurnee and the Research and Development Division at Lowe Boats.
Mr. Erickson is a registered E.I.T. in the state of Illinois and holds Primavera Project Planner training certification. He is also an active member in ASCE.
