Senior Staff ConsultantDr. Nakamoto joined Packer Engineering after conducting research for seven years in Japanese industry and academia. He is responsible for engineering modeling and analyses, including structural mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and advanced statistical concepts. He is also involved with computer based automation and manufacturing process intelligent control, including both the hardware and software elements.
Dr. Nakamoto has both research and practical experience in engineering design, especially in advanced technology applications, measurement engineering, machinery dynamics, and tribology.
As a native of Japan, he is especially valuable in reviewing and interpreting original drawings, standards, publications, patents, literature, and other design documentation involving products or components designed or manufactured in that country.
