Mridula Pareek
Engineering TechnologistMridula Pareek is an Engineering Technologist with an extensive background in mechanical and micro structural testing and analysis of ceramic composites.
Since joining Packer Engineering, Ms. Pareek has been the principal researcher for ceramic composite research, development, design and assessment.
Prior to joining Packer, Ms. Pareek was a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois, Chicago. As a Research Assistant she was responsible for joining of similar metals using Friction Stir Welding. Other responsibilities included the set up and improvised the equipment for Friction Stir Welding. She successfully made friction stir welds of Aluminum, Copper and Magnesium alloys. Ms. Pareek also performed micro structural and mechanical characterization of friction stir welding and conducted failure analysis while studying corrosion behavior of friction stir weld magnesium alloys. As a Teaching Assistant she taught Cemm460: Crystallography and X-ray Diffraction and Cemm260: Properties of Material. Her responsibilities included organized and conducted laboratory classes for materials characterization and X-ray diffraction analysis as well as evaluating and monitoring student progress.
Ms. Pareek was a Materials Engineer in Baroda India before coming to the United States for more education.
